Week of November 17-21

The kids are having a lot of fun with our Thanksgiving crafts!  They have made owls, turkeys, corn, scarecrows just to name a few!  They have been telling me a lot about Thanksgiving around their houses...their favorite food at the feast, why we celebrate, etc.  It is really quite interesting to get a child's point of view!

Last week we had fun reading all of our friend's favorite books!  Thanks for bringing your books to share with the class!

Tasha came for Music Class on Friday and we sang all about Vegetables!  We made quite the vegetable soup with our Squash, tomato, pepper and pumpkin shaped maracas!

This week we have Travel Tots on Tuesday (9:00am) with Ms. Beth.

Friday is Brown Day.  I know we also did this before I switched curriculum, so this time around instead of wearing Brown Clothes, please take your child on a Brown hunt at home and bring something brown to show us!  Same as show and tell- I ask that it be able to fit in their cubbies to make sure it has a safe spot during the day!

We made it outside almost everyday last week!  This week it does not look like we will be so lucky!  The first part of the week is supposed to be pretty bitterly cold, so may never make it to the 20 degree cut off!  But it does look like there are some "mild" temperatures headed this way by the end of the week!  Fingers Crossed!

Menu:
Monday:  Tacos, mixed veggies, berries and milk
Tuesday:  Meatballs, green beans, apple slices, dinner roll and milk
Wednesday:  Lasagna Hotdish, garlic bread, pears and milk

STAY WARM!
