Week of Aug. 27-31

Maggie brought us cupcakes to
celebrate her last day of daycare!

Here we are...the end of August...the end of Summer break!  Wow, where did time go?!  Maggie is officially done with daycare and spending the week getting ready to move onto the big world of kindergarten!  Justin and Jack will both be done this week as well!  I wish all of them and AWESOME first year at school!  I know they will all do great!

She will be greatly missed!

We had Music class on Friday with Tasha!  The kids got to play the drums and use the parachute while singing songs about jungle animals!

This week Avery and Ryan start full time!  They joined us for a couple days last week and had a blast.  They jumped right into our group and will be perfect fit!  They are both very sweet kids!  Avery is 3.5 and loved playing dress up clothes and Barbies last week.  She even found a bunch of Barbie Clothes from home that she gave us for daycare!  Ryan is 2 and loved the dinosaurs! He joined the 2 year old boy gang pretty quickly with Levi and Dominic!  Be sure to introduce yourselves to their parents, Karisa and Mike if you see them around!

 

This week we will be having a picnic on Tuesday, so be sure to send a bag lunch with your.  Don't forget to include a drink and put your child's name on the bag!  We will head to the park by 10am Tuesday morning, so have your child here by then!

 

Wednesday we will be celebrating Justin's birthday!  And Thursday will be his last day.

 

Erin will be here Thursday afternoon and all day Friday, we are ending the kids' summer break with an exteneded weekend at the cabin!  She will also be here part of the afternoon on Wednesday.  She did get a job at Turtle Lake Elementary for the fall teaching special ed, so we won't see her around as much, except on days off from school!  She is a great daycare teacher and was a blessing to have this summer!

 

I received our September curriculum in the mail last week, it looks like a lot of fun.  All the kids are looking forward to going "back to school" on Tuesday!

 

REMEMBER- DAYCARE IS CLOSED ON MONDAY!

 

MENU:

Monday- Pizza, grapes and milk

Tuesday- PICNIC LUNCH!

Wednesday- Tuna Pasta Salad, peaches and milk

Thursday- Lasagna hot dish, dinner roll, carrots, appleasauce and milk

Friday- Ham Sandwiches, green beans, pears and milk
