Week of May 26-30

I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful Memorial Day weekend!  Chris and I had a great time at the wedding in New Orleans!

Last week we had a wonderful time on our Spring Picnic at the park!  The kids really love having special days like that!  This summer we are going to have themed weeks with a special day planned every Wednesday for WACKY WEDNESDAYS!  Some will be field trips, others will be parties or special activities here at daycare...either way, we are in for some serious fun this summer!  Some of the weeks will be...camping week, water week, animal week, Olympic week, wheels week...and more to come!

Climbing the rocks!

This week we are having "gardening week!"  We will be watching some beans grow, doing a couple garden themed crafts, reading books about gardens, as well as planting some flowers, and vegetables in a garden!  The kids love watching the food grow and then of course love picking it and eating what they planted!

May 5- May 9

May has arrived!  I think it is safe to say that spring is here to stay now!  Looking forward to a fun summer with a great group of kids!

Our kitchen is coming along pretty smoothly- no real hiccups in the process yet and we are nearing the finish line!  This week I will have some workers here fishing the sheetrock and ceiling- so if they are working (they don't plan on starting until 9am) you may want to walk your kids around back in the morning.  Then next Monday- new cabinets go in!  Can't wait!

Tuesday we have Travel Tots with Ms. Beth!  The kids just love it when she comes!  They have learned a lot from her- if they have not already: ask them to sing you the oceans song or the 7 continents song!
I will be gone Friday Afternoon attending Logan's big Mother's Day Program at School, and then leaving for up north after school gets out!  Katie (who most of you met last week on Friday) will be here for me!  The kids really enjoyed meeting her!
