Week of Feb. 24-28 (and Valentines Day Pictures!)

We had a lot of fun celebrating Valentines Day with our friends the other week!

What a cute group of kiddos!

The week, we have Show and tell on Thursday.  Please help your child find one of their favorite books to bring from home.  We will will read as many as we have time for that day!

Friday we have a make up Music Class with Tasha.  She was sick earlier this month when she was scheduled to come.

It also looks like we will be inside again all week...lots of exercising, Movement games and dance parties!

MENU:

Monday- Ravioli, garlic bread, apple slices and milk

Tuesday- Corn Dogs, carrots, pears and milk

Wednesday-Sloppy Joes, green beans, oranges and milk

Thursday- Scrambled Eggs, Ham, oranges and milk

Friday-Grilled Cheese, mixed veggies, bananas and milk

**In case anyone missed the reminder on the bottom of the February newsletter, DAYCARE IS CLOSED Mar. 12, 13, 14, 17 and 18th.  Erin will then be here Mar. 19-21.

Week of Feb. 10-14

This week we will be celebrating Valentines Day at daycare!  We will do crafts, songs and activities with a lot of hearts, pink, red and purple...as well as read a few books about love!  We will end our week with a Valentines Day Party on Friday!  Wear your best Valentines Clothes and feel free to bring Valentines for all your daycare friends!  There are 10 kids!  We will have some special Valentines Day food and fun!

We will also have Music Class on Friday with Tasha.

Looks like this week MIGHT be the end of the frigid temperatures!  After this weekend there are a lot of 30s in the forecast so be prepared for a lot of outdoor playtime and the chance of some SOGGY children when you come for pick up!

Menu:

Monday- Meatballs, fruit cocktail, corn and milk

Tuesday- Fish Sticks, carrots, apples and milk

Wednesday- Macaroni and Cheese, mandarin oranges, green beans and milk

Thursday- Beef Quesadillas, peas, pears and milk

Friday- Pizza, grapes, mixed veggies and milk

AND THE GROUNDHOG SAYS...

6 More weeks of winter!!!!!  In some parts of the country, that may be a bad thing, but here in MN 6 more weeks would be GREAT!  Too bad we are looking more like 10-12 weeks at the least!  But hopefully those "milder" winter temperatures come later next week as forecasted so we can get outside on a daily basis and maybe even start melting some of this snow!

The 5 year olds!  Off to Kindergarten next year!

This week we have Travel Tots on Tuesday with Ms. Beth!  This class has been a great break in the daily routine this winter...especially with the cold temps preventing us getting outside MANY days!

We will be learning the triangle, the letter D and the number 4 this week.  We will also be decorating for Valentines Day...seeing lots of red, pink and purple!
