Week of August 22-26

Sorry, just realized I never did a blog post on Monday!!!!  My brain is busy thinking of everything I have left to do before the kids head back to school!

As everyone knows, we did a fun surprise picnic at the park yesterday!  The weather was perfect and we had PB and J's on the menu so I figured why not just go with it!  The kids had a blast and were tired out by the time we got back here!

Next week on Tuesday, we will have BIKE DAY!  Everyone may bring their child's bike for a little riding fun.  Please bring a helmet for your child as well!  You may drop them off by the garage in the morning and then take them home with you when you pick up that day!  If the weather does not cooperate, we will do it on Wednesday, watch for updates!

Reminder that next week I am using a vacation day on Friday and then closed on Labor Day for the holiday.  Enjoy your extra long "farewell" to summer weekend.

Week of August 15-19

Last week we had a lot of fun in Music Class with Tasha singing about the olympics!  The kids played instruments and pretending they were carrying the olympic torch while dancing!

This week we have Travel Tots on Tuesday with Ms Beth. Looking forward to seeing what she has in store for us this week!

The weather looks like it's going to be great this week!  Hoping to have a water day or two while we still can!

We have a couple kids leaving us for school this fall, but I am happy to see I have filled every spot.  3 new friends will be joining us in September.

Week of August 8-12

USA USA USA!!!!!!  The summer Olympics are here!  I know my older boys have been having a blast watching all the different sports!  We will be having our own olympics activities this week to have some fun along with all the athletes!

We had some fun staying cool last week!  The water table, kiddie pool and sprinkler were all out and were thoroughly enjoyed!

This week, the kids have a special surprise!  With Mike being done for the summer as my Friday sub, Erin will be here to fill in this Friday afternoon!  She is excited to see the kids again since she hasn't been here since march!

I am planning on doing an end of summer picnic at the park with the kiddos before everyone heads off to school,  watch for an update on the date.  Most likely the week of Aug 22nd.

Week of August 1-5

August is already here.  Summer is flying by, I hope everyone takes some time to enjoy what is left of it!

Last week we celebrated Kaia's 5th birthday! I found this old picture from pajama day near the time she first started...had to share how cute it was, and yes, that's Gavin sitting on her lap!!

This week we have Travel Tots with Ms. Beth on Tuesday.  

Mike will be here again on Friday,  It will be his last day for the summer since volleyball starts back up for the season and his team will be practicing every afternoon.  But don't worry, you'll see him again in October.

Which brings me to a couple vacation days to put on your calendar!  I will be closed Friday, Sept 2nd to head out of town for Labor day. I know many of you also leave early to avoid cabin traffic, so hopefully that gives you a reason to take some extra time for the Holiday weekend!

I will also be closed on Monday, October 24th.  Mike will be here for me Oct 20 and 21. Chris and I are headed back to California wine country with another couple for some kid free relaxation and delicious wine!

Week of July 18-21

 Last week we had a lot of fun in the sprinkler!  The kids even had freezies after they were done!  It's going to get pretty hot this week, so we hope to have some more water fun to stay cool!

This week, we have travel Tots on Tuesday with Ms. Beth! We are excited to see what kind of fun things she has planned for us this month!

Wednesday we will also celebrate Gavin's 4th birthday!

SUPERHERO AND PRINCESS DAY PICTURES~

Week of July 11-15

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July.  We had a great week up at the cabin!  Spent time with family and had all our friends join us the last weekend with the kids!  10 adults and 9 kids, most of us even slept through the night!

It sounds like the kids all had a great time with Mike last week!  Most of them were sad he wasn't going to be here today!!!

This week we have a new friend starting!  Another Mason!  He is 2.5 years old and is excited about being here and making new friends!  Say hello to his mom, Stacy if you see her!

This week on THURSDAY, we are going to have super hero/princess day!  Send our child dressed to represent their favorite superhero or princess!

Week of June 27-July1

The kids loved playing in the sprinkler last Friday!  It is a great way to cool off on hot summer days!  Please be sure to send a swimsuit for your child to keep here for the summer! I only have limited extras for the kids to borrow, and definitely don't have any girl ones! ;)

This week we will be having some patriotic fun!  We'll do some Fourth of July themed crafts and activities to get ready for the big Holiday weekend!

Friday is RED WHITE AND BLUE DAY!  Come dressed to show your love for the USA!
