Week of June 22- June 26

Looking forward to a fun week!  I have promised the kids a walk to the park.  With some rain/storms in the forecast, we will get there when we can!  If we go in the afternoon, I will send a text out and you can just pick the kids up from Hansen Park.

We will be celebrating Jaylins birthday on Monday! He turned 4 on Sunday!

The summer theme for the week is Fishing!  We have a few fun crafts and some angler related games to play!  Here Fishy Fishy!

With the 4th of July Holiday coming up, if anyone knows ahead of time that their child(ren) will be gone next week, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday while Erin's here, please let me know so I can get accurate information to her.  Otherwise if it is short notice next week, please send me a text or email and I will get the information to her.

Menu:
Monday- Fish sticks, corn on the cob, oranges and milk
Tuesday- french toast sticks, ham, pineapple, cottage cheese and milk
Wednesday- cheeseburger macaroni, mixed veggies, fruit cocktail and milk

June 15-19

Last week we had fun celebrating Maddie's 3rd birthday!  We also had Music Class with Tasha!  The sprinkler was a huge hit as well!  Great to have some nice warm weather!

Busy week ahead of us!

Tuesday we have Travel Tots with Ms. Beth at 9am and will also be celebrating Avalan's 4th birthday!

Wednesday is Minnesota Twins day!  Wear some Twins clothes!  The theme for this week's summer curriculum is "sports!"  So we will have some baseball themed fun!

Friday, Erin will be here again in the afternoon (all summer long!)

Just a reminder- Erin will be here June 29-July 1 and daycare WILL BE CLOSED JULY 2 and JULY 3.

Week of June 8-12

Still no WORKING computer, so another short blog post this week!

Summer is finally here!  Let's make the most if it!  Please send a swimsuit to keep here for your child safety we can cook off in the sprinkler, or set up the water slide on hot days!

We have Music Class on Friday at 10:00 with Tasha!

During the summer, Erin will be working Friday afternoons for me!  She is done teaching at school this week, so will start making her appearances again soon!  She is looking forward to seeing the kids again this summer and getting to know the newer ones!

Tuesday-  Chicken tacos, corn, strawberries and milk
Wednesday- Chicken nuggets, peas, peaches and milk

June 1st- June 5th

Happy June!!!!!  Only a couple days of school left!  Which means we'll have some big kids around the house!  But we will also be losing EJ and Ian.  They are looking forward to spending the summer home with mom, but we will miss them!!!

This week we have Travel Tots on Tuesday with Ms. Beth at 9am!  We're excited to see what fun she has in store for us!


We had a lot of fun at our picnic last week!  I got some great pictures of the kids.  Unfortunately my computer finally died- so I am doing an abbreviated post on here this week and will post pics next week when my computer comes back from the doctor and is hopefully working!!!!

Wednesday, I will have Jessica here subbing for me from about 2:00-4:00 so I can attend Aidan's Elementary school "graduation" celebration!  On to the big leagues next year in Middle School! She is excited to see all the kids again

Week of May 18-22

We had a busy week last week learning about more baby animals on the farm!  We played some learning games about colors and  numbers as well! This week we will be talking about growing food on the farms!  The kids will help me plant some vegetables in the garden out back so they can watch them grow and help me harvest them! They love eating things they have grown- a great way to get them to eat some new foods!

We have Travel Tots on Tuesday with Ms. Beth at 9am

We will also celebrate Logan's 9th birthday Tuesday afternoon!

With a short week this week we will cramming a lot of fun in to 4 days! I hope everyone enjoys their extended Memorial Day weekend!

Week of May 11-15

I hope all you wonderful Mommies had a Great Mother's Day weekend...doing whatever it is you wanted to do!!!!  The kids had a lot of fun making your Mother's Day keychains!  The older kids thought it was pretty fun answering questions about their mommies!  I hope you enjoyed their stories as well!


We had a blast last week with Ms. Beth during our Travel Tots class and Enjoyed singing about Cinco de Mayo with Tasha during a music class!

This week we will continue learning about Spring time at the farm!  More fun with Farm babies!  Last week we talked about chicks and lambs!  This week we will be working on Piglets and Ponies!

Week of May 3- May 8

I can not believe how quickly this school year is coming to a close!  It feels like it just began!  Summer sports are in full swing and everything is turning green outside!  Sure signs that Summer is actually on it's way!

I know many people take vacations during the summer, just a little reminder to please let me know when you are going to be gone so I can plan our meals and activities accordingly for that time!

Also if you are going to be here later than 9:30 please let me know.  There are many mornings during the spring that we go for walks, head to the park or do other special activities and don't want to leave anyone behind!  Thanks!
